Management of rounds
New round
New round through the website
It is now possible to create a new round without going to Score and back. Before doing so, it is important to determine which pairing system you want to use. In the table below you’ll find the possible pairing systems
After you saved the settings for the pairing system (which you can do in the Tournament settings section), you can create a new round. You can only do this whenever the previous round is fully played and registered.
Do the round calculation in Score! application
If you want to have the full control, you still can use the Score! application new round functionality. And so even do a manual intervention for a manual draw.
To do so, you need to do the following steps
Download the tournament
At the tournament page, you will see a tab Score application. In this section, you can download the .bbd file.
Actions in Score
At this moment you can use this downloaded .bbd file and open this in the Score application. Here you can do some manual actions, like publishing next round and so on.
You can update a player in Score, but I wouldn’t recommend it. You can do these items also on the Website at the team section.
At this moment only placing a player to inactive has to be done in the Score application.
But mainly, you are here to create a new round.
Upload the tournament
After you did all the necessary actions in Score, you can save the file and upload it again at the Score application section of the tournament.
As long as you didn’t updated the tournament name in your settings in Score, it will update the tournament instead of creating a new one.
Publishing a round
After creating the round, you can publish the message to the telegram users by clicking the Publish next round button on the tournament settings section.
In the Tournament settings section, you also have the links to go to the current round, or even all the rounds.
